MAKE BETTER BOOKS TOGETHER

Welcome to the DIG Photobook Studio

Welcome to the Photobook Studio, a collaborative space within the Digital Imaging Group of the Royal Photographic Society dedicated to the art of the photobook.

Photography is often experienced as individual images, but many photographers discover that their work comes alive when images are sequenced, edited, and shaped into a narrative. A photobook allows photographs to speak to each other across pages, creating rhythm, meaning, and emotional resonance.

The Photobook Studio is designed as an online creative atelier where photographers can explore this process together. Here you can develop projects, experiment with zines, learn book design and production techniques, discuss influential photobooks, and share knowledge about publishing and distribution.

Whether you are making your first small zine or developing a full photobook project, the studio provides a supportive environment where ideas can grow and evolve.

Our aim is simple:
to help photographers move beyond sharing images and begin making books.
